Anthony Morrow — who played for the New Orleans Pelicans last season — has agreed to terms with the Oklahoma City Thunder on a three-year deal worth $10 million. After being undrafted in 2008, Morrow has turned his career around and is known as one of the more lethal shooters in the NBA.
Morrow knocked down his three’s at a 45 percent clip last season, which was good enough for fourth in the NBA. The Thunder have been looking for a viable option at two guard ever since the departure of James Harden. Kevin Martin wasn’t the solution and with Thabo Sefolosha moving onto the Atlanta Hawks, the Thunder needed help. Look for Morrow in an OKC uniform jersey next season, knocking down open triples courtesy of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
