While the Spurs and Heat fight for the series lead, there is another serious fight going on in the NFL. The Yocha Dehe Wintum Nation, based near San Francisco, has paid for an anti-Redskins advertisement to be aired during tonight’s NBA Finals matchup in seven major cities: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Sacramento, San Francisco and Washington. The 60-second advertisement is titled “Proud to Be” and features Native Americans listing the names they are proud to be called—“Redskins” is not one of them. Game 2 drew more than 15 million viewers nationwide, according to Nielsen ratings, so even in a limited market run this message should reach a huge audience.
