According to Baxter Holmes of the Boston Globe, the Celtics have agreed to terms with restricted free agent Avery Bradley. The 6-foot-2 guard will sign a $4 year deal with $32 million. The Celtics were front runners to retain Bradley’s services all along, as the five year pro didn’t even sign an offer sheet with another team. Bradley has been heralded for his pit bull mentality defense and averaged 14.9 points with the Celtics last season.

The 76ers called Bradley on the night of July 1, but those talks never turned into anything serious. Seems like Bradley had his pick of what rebuild he wanted to join — Boston or Philadelphia?

Bradley chose to remain with the Celtics and will be locked up for the next four seasons.
