The Pacers desperately need help in the shooting category and are stretching their visions to overseas prospects as they have agreed to terms with Damjan Rudez from Europe. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Rudez signed a three-year deal with the Indiana Pacers. Rudez — who is 27 years old — is a native of Croatia and went undrafted in 2007 and will be paid with some of the Pacers mid-level-exception.
Rudez plays the stretch four position and stands at 6’10”. He last played for Zaragoza of the Spanish ACB, shooting 44 percent from three in the ACB and 52 percent in the 16-game Euro Cup. Rudez will hopefully add some shooting to a team that finished 17th in three-point percentage last season.
