Think the Golden State Warriors are feeling the heat from the Cleveland Cavaliers yet?
A day after reports surfaced of LeBron James wanting to team with Kevin Love and the Cavs willing to include No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins to get him, the Warriors have come back and are now reportedly willing to include shooting guard Klay Thompson in a package to land Love.
According to a report from the BasketballInsiders, the Warriors are now willing to add Thompson to a package that includes power forward David Lee, swingman Harrison Barnes, and a future first-round pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves for the All-Star, Love, and shooting guard Kevin Martin.
The Warriors have come off their stance to not include Thompson now that Love is now reportedly willing to exercise his option for the 2015-16 season, putting off becoming a free agent next summer.
The question now is, if the report pans out, will adding Thompson be enough for the Warriors to seal the deal with Minnesota and land Love or will the Timberwolves work with Cleveland to develop a stronger package for Love? Hours after King James returned to Cleveland last Friday, Love expressed interest in teaming with him on the Cavaliers.
How will this one end up?
