And the LeBron James aftermath continues. The dominoes are likely to keep falling in NBA free agency.
The Houston Rockets are finalized a trade to send Jeremy Lin to the Los Angeles Lakers today.
That move will open up the salary-cap space to sign Chris Bosh to a four-year, $88 deal. According to the same report, the Rockets would then also match the offer sheet that the Dallas Mavericks signed to retain the services of forward Chandler Parsons.
All along, Bosh has maintained that if James leaves Miami as he did today, that he would sign with the Rockets. Another report states that Houston expects Bosh to commit “soon.”
Bosh and James helped propel the Heat to two NBA championships in four consecutive NBA Finals.
